Yoga is NOT a religion, it is a practice. Yoga has been around for 5,000 years and is based on ancient Indian philosophy. A mind and body practice that combines breathing techniques, physical postures, and meditation. Yoga has become a popular form of physical exercise that uses postures to promote flexibility, improve control of the body and mind, and enhanced overall well-being. Your yoga mat is a safe place to explore, play, listen, learn, and grow. Practicing yoga helps manage stress and anxiety, increase flexibility and muscle strength, but most importantly, yoga meets you where YOU ARE! From beginner to advanced, couch potato to elite athlete, youth to aged, yoga is for everybody and every body.

Online Sunrise Flow
WEEKLY LIVESTREAM VIRTUAL CLASS
Taught via Citizen Yoga’s online platform. Vinyasa links breath with movement. A variation of Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa classes sequence a variety of poses in a flowing movement that cultivates balance, flexibility, strength, and endurance. Instructors will build sequences and then allow you to flow on your own moving at a pace of 1 breath per movement. Catered towards a somewhat experienced yogi, this class will challenge your breath and build physical endurance. Recommended for students who have attended at least 3-5 yoga classes. However, all our teachers are very supportive and will help guide you through a wonderful experience on the mat. Rise with the sun and set your intention for the day with this class.
